Creation

Our bespoke jewellery tells a story. Your story.

This is why we always want to establish a profound and sincere connection with you, while we listen to your ideas. Purchasing our bespoke jewellery with stones, handmade in our workshop, should be an enchanting and charming experience. We would be delighted if you visited us in our atelier in Milan, otherwise our attentive and supportive staff will take care of your needs via phone call, or email. Connecting with you is our main purpose.

While tailoring your bespoke piece, we will suggest both material and style combinations. We want to guide you in developing your taste and let your stories and ideas out. We know how to relax you and comfort you into creating your piece, an artist’s jewel that is uniquely personal. Uniquely yours.

Designing your bespoke jewellery.

After our first talk we will present you different sketches and ideas, to suggest shapes and precious materials, both hand drawn and with personalised 3D printed prototypes. We will define together every detail of your bespoke jewellery, from size and weight to shapes and materials, and only when you will be completely satisfied with our design proposals we will proceed to the realization of your bespoke piece.

The best craftsmanship, from the oldest practices to the most modern goldsmithing techniques, will be tailored to each creation, specifically to each idea and the desired result.

In addition to our bespoke jewellery, we can also design for you a vast selection of precious objects and luxury accessories, such as a suit’s button, your family’s seal, or knobs for both antique and modern furniture.

Metal processing

Most of our unique creations are hand made from gold laminate sheets and gold thread, or at times crafted from semi-finished components assembled together.

Our precious bespoke realizations are a harmony of different details, manufactured to your needs using different techniques: pressing, turning, or melting.

Afterwards, your creation can be chiseled, carved, or pierced.

The finishing touches are realized with a set of specialized files, made of either emery paper or sandpaper, that thanks to different types of grit prepare your bespoke jewellery piece for the polishing stage.

It is fascinating to note the different combinations and styles available for gold varieties – yellow, white, and pink gold – created accordingly to each different alloy best standards, and always precisely at 18 carats.

If the project requires it, we would then proceed to the creation of the waxes: rubber prototypes for each of the single components are created from a digital design, which will then be replaced in the molds with molten metal, using the lost-wax casting technique. The parts thus obtained are then polished with specific plasters, and then manufactured.

For white gold creations, we also look after rhodium plating and palladium plating, that will protect your piece of jewellery through time and yellowing.

Stonesetting

After a careful and accurate assembly of every piece that creates your artist’s piece, we move on to the stonesetting stage, if gems are required. Depending on the style of your bespoke jewellery, as in the case of larger gems pave or chromatic nuances, it may take different processing times.

There are different stonesetting methods, each used for a different purpose: prong setting, collet setting, burnish setting, bezel setting, pave setting, compass point setting and also invisible set styles, available for certain gemstone shapes.

This is a crucial part of the creation process and this is why we have been relying on the same artful, experienced masters for years, providing for perfect accuracy.

Final polishing

This is the final stage, where your commissioned bespoke jewellery is cleaned ultrasonically from the processing remains, and then brushed and polished to a spotless precision with the appropriate techniques. To leave your creation bright and luminous, ready to be worn by you.
